ABOUT BOLZANO – HOTEL GREIF
Hotel Greif is a modern and charming design hotel, located in the heart of Bolzano. Within walking distance to all major sights. It is housed in a historic building, that used to be a private residence, but has been a hotel for over 100 years. The hotel was completely restored in the years 1993 to 1999. It reopened in grand style in 2000 as a modern designer hotel.
The 33 rooms are individually decorated by 33 contemporary artists – with just one aim: to create in each room a unique ambience and delight to the eye. The bathrooms are decorated in seven different types of marble and vary in size, design and furnishings. A stay at Hotel Greif becomes a very personal experience. There are 5 different categories of rooms.
The Laurin Restaurant – located at the Greif´s sister hotel – the Hotel Laurin ( a few minutes´walk) – is one of Bolzano´s finest restaurant. They serve contemporary cuisine – with a combination of ”the aromas of the sea” and ”flavours of the South Tyrolean Mountains”.
Hotel Greif has been awarded ”Certificate of Excellence” for the year of 2012 by Tripadvisor.
